FESTIVITIES AND PLENTY OF FOOD FILLED the Falls Church City Hall and Community Center’s backyard as Falls Church locals joined visitors from across the D.C. metro area to participate in the fourth annual Taste of Falls Church Fall Festival. In addition to sampling the finest cuisine from Falls Church’s distinguished restaurants, festival goers were treated to arts and crafts, games and great music. This year, Ireland’s Four Provinces clinched first place in the Taste’s dining competition, Hoang’s coming in second and La Caraqueña in third place. The City sold 6,287 tickets and estimated that between 6,000 – 8,000 people attended the successful 2008 Fall Festival. (Photos: Jessica George)
