Destruction of Property, 200 blk. W Greenway Blvd., December 5, 3:34 p.m., unknown person(s) scratched victim’s 2004 Acura while parked in front of residence.

Robbery, BB&T Bank, 191 W Broad St., December 5, 5:40 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment through the rear entrance and announced a robbery. According to the bank employees/victims, Suspect #1 walked in first pointing a black handgun at them and instructed them to lie on the floor. Suspect #1 then walked behind the tellers counter and instructed the employees to open their cash drawers. Victim #1 was instructed by Suspect #1 to empty the cash into a black cloth bag that he brought with him. Suspect #2 walked in after Suspect #1 and was also holding a black handgun. Suspect #2 then walked with Victim #1 to his/her desk so he/she could retrieve the combination to the bank vault. Victim #2 and Victim #1 were then escorted by Suspect #1 to the vault where Victim #2 opened a separate cash drawer. The cash drawer contained a significant amount of cash which Victim#1 emptied into a second black cloth bag also brought in by the suspects. Victim #2 reported that Suspect #1 instructed him/her not to place any dye packs inside the bag. Suspect #1 found a dye pack among the cash and removed the dye pack and placed it on the counter. The suspects are described as follows: Suspect #1 was described as being 6` to 6` 3", medium build, dark completion and wearing all black. A black knit cap, black sweatshirt, black jeans, and black shoes. Suspect #2 was described as being 5` 8" to 5` 9", medium build, dark completion and also wearing all black similar to Suspect #1. Both suspects wore black gloves and something similar to a scarf concealing their face. No one was injured.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 blk. N Washington St., December 5, 7:14 p.m., unknown person(s) broke the passenger side window on a silver 2008 Mazda and stole a tan Prada purse containing a social security card, (2) insurance cards, wallet, pair of red pumps, IPOD Nano, and numerous keys.

Drunkenness, 200 blk. Gordon Rd., December 6, 6:43 p.m., police arrested a male, 44, of Alexandria, VA for DIP.

Larceny, Jiffy Lube, 1014 W Broad St., December 7, 2:00 p.m., unknown person(s) stole $100.00 cash from a vehicle being serviced.

Drug/Narcotic Violation, Arlington Blvd/Patrick Henry, December 7, 2:39 p.m., police arrested a male, 20, of Lanham, MD for Possession of Marijuana.

Destruction of Property, 7Eleven, 110 N West St., between December 7, 4:00 p.m. and December 8, 3:00 a.m., unknown person(s) slashed the passenger’s side front and rear tires on a black 2001 Toyota Corolla.

Drunkenness, 500 blk. S Washington St., December 9, 2:56 a.m., police arrested a male, 19, of Annandale, VA for DIP.

Larceny, Hai Lua, 6795 Wilson Blvd., #21, December 9, 9:18 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment, ran the bill up to $284.00 and exited the establishment without paying.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 blk. W Cameron Rd., between December 9, 4:00 p.m. and December 10, 8:00 a.m., unknown person(s) entered an unsecured vehicle and stole a 4” single blade pocket knife, pair of “Oliver Peoples” sunglasses, a black wool hat, and pair of wool gloves.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 1100 blk. W Broad St., December 10, between 6:35 p.m. and 9:37 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a teal 1994 Honda from the rear parking lot of Falls Plaza Shopping Center.

Destruction of Property, Eden Center, 6700 blk. Wilson Blvd., December 10, between 9:58 p.m. and 10:28 p.m., unknown person(s) attempted to break, with a rock, the driver’s side window on a black 2008 Mercedes Benz. The victim left in plain view an unattended purse on the passenger seat of the vehicle.
