November 13 – 19, 2007

Burglary-Commercial, Defense Group Inc., 307 E Annandale Rd., between November 12, 7:00 p.m. and November 13, 8:00 a.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment and stole two laptop computers.

Assist other Jurisdiction, Burger King, 700 W Broad St., November 13, 1:28 p.m., police received a vehicle lookout from Fairfax County in reference to a stolen vehicle. Police spotted this stolen vehicle being driven in the 500 blk of W Broad Street. Police was able to conduct a traffic stop in the parking lot of Burger King. Police arrested a male, 51, of Annandale, VA. This is incident is still being investigated by Fairfax County Police.

Motor Vehicle Theft, Columbia Baptist Church, 103 W Columbia St., November 13, 10:30 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a 1994 Honda Civic from the parking lot. The vehicle was unsecured and running.

Larceny, Patriot Motor Sports, 30 Hillwood Ave., October 21, unknown person(s) forged victim’s check in the amount of $5000.00 to purchase a 2003 Honda Element. This incident was reported November 2007.

Larceny, Shoplifting, Hollywood Video, 502 W Broad St., November 14, 10:23 p.m., police arrested a male, 43, of Arlington, VA for stealing three DVD movies.

Destruction of Property, 300 blk. James St., between November 12, 7:00 p.m. and November 15, 7:43 a.m., unknown person(s) bent the windshield wiper backwards on a 2006 Hyundai.

Burglary-Commercial, Alternative Computer, 900 S Washington St., #100, between November 14, 5:00 p.m. and November 15, 2:27 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment and stole three memory modular, one processor, and one keyboard.

Drunkenness, State Theatre, 220 N Washington St., November 16, 12:25 a.m., police arrested a male, 31, of Takoma Park, MD; a male, 27, of Takoma Park, MD; and a male, 33, of Silver Spring, MD for DIP.

Robbery, 100 blk. W Broad St., November 16, 9:09 a.m., unknown person(s) came from behind and grabbed victim’s arm and handbag strap. The suspect(s) intentions were to steal the victim’s handbag, but instead the suspect(s) retrieved the cell phone. The suspect(s) pushed the victim to the ground. As the victim lay on the ground, the suspect(s) took steps towards the victims again with the intention of getting the handbag. The victim started calling for help and the suspect(s) fled the scene.

Driving under the Influence, 1000 blk. E Broad St., November 17, 12:49 a.m., police arrested a male, 34, of Marlborough, MA for DUI and Refusal.

Drunkenness, State Theatre, 220 N Washington St., November 17, 1:10 a.m., police arrested a female, 28, of Fairfax, VA and a male, 28, of Ellicott City, MD for DIP.

Burglary-Commercial, Associates in Medicine, 131 E. Broad St., between November 16, 6:00 p.m. and November 17, 10:15 a.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment pried open a drawer and stole $215.00 in cash, $14,991.77 in checks, credit / debit card information, and receipt transactions.

Larceny, Shell, 6623 Wilson Blvd., November 17, 6:45 p.m., unknown person(s) pumped $35.31 worth of unleaded gasoline and drove off without paying for it.

Drug/Narcotic Violation, 7Eleven, 201 S Washington St., November 18, 6:26 a.m., police arrested a male, 52, of Falls Church, VA for DUI and inhaling a noxious chemical substance with the intention of becoming intoxicated (Dust-Off).

Larceny from Building, Inns of Virginia, 421 W Broad St., November 18, 6:24 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment and stole a Dell Laptop from the front desk.

Larceny from Vehicle, 300 blk. Timber Ln., between November 17, 12:00 p.m. and November 18, 6:50 p.m., unknown person(s) entered an unsecured vehicle and stole a Dell Laptop from the rear seat.

Robbery, Eden Center, 6763 Wilson Blvd., November 18, 7:31 p.m., unknown person(s) approached victim in the hallway and pulled out a knife on the victim. The victim pulled away and kicked the suspect(s). The victim ran down the hallway, the suspect(s) ran after the victim. The suspect(s) terminated the foot pursuit and left the area. Suspect #1 is described as an A/M, 5`4" to 5`5", thin build, with spiked short hair wearing a black jacket. Suspect #2 is described as an A/M, 5`2" to 5`3", thin build, his hair was described as being long in the front and cut short along the sides, possibly wearing a brown jacket.
