“A Christmas Carol,” by Charles Dickens, performed by the Synetic Theatre, Rosslyn Spectrum, Preview Friday, Nov. 23, Opening Night Saturday, Nov. 24.

Just don’t come with any particular expectations to anything you see done by the highly-creative and acclaimed Synetic Theatre in Arlington. This multiple Helen Hayes Award winning production company is coming at us with its unique stamp on the Dickens class of the season starting this weekend. The Friday preview is “pay-what-you-can” at 8 p.m. Opening night Saturday at 8 p.m. includes a reception afterwards, with discounted tickets for students and seniors. It runs through Dec. 23. Falls Church’s 15-year-old Miles Butler is one of five of Synetic’s movement-savvy actors in the show, singing, dancing and playing multiple roles. For reservations, call (703) 824-8060.
