Relax!

This is the calm before the storm. It's the end of August. The dog days of summer are fading in the rear view. Labor day is just on the horizon. And kids everywhere are hating it. So what to do on the next-to-last weekend in August? Well, a look at my Jam calendar brings up nada. And, after thinking about it, that sounds just about right. There's no reason to plan any big excursions this weekend. Vacations should be done by now. Kids don't need to get their back-to-school gear for at least another week. Everyone, everywhere should just relax. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Go see a movie. Go lounge by the pool at Lee Graham. Go take your dog for a walk around the block. Do all three. Do none of them. It's your choice. Just be sure to enjoy the calm, 'cause once September rears it's head, you'll be wishing you had a weekend like this one.
