Great Grapes! Wine, Arts & Food Festival, July 28 & 29, Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds

Great Grapes!Attention vino aficionados, get your wine palates tuned, it’s the International Great Grapes! Wine, Arts & Food Festival this Saturday and Sunday in Annapolis, Md. Featuring a world of wines, Great Grapes gives your discerning taste buds a chance to globetrot on their own as they savor offerings from Italy, Australia, Spain and California. Throughout the weekend, in addition to the wine, there will be gourmet cooking demos from culinary experts (including Top Chef winner Ilan Hall) and live music (Dani Dortaza, David Bach, Jack Diamond Band, Looking for Lester, King Teddy and Junkyard Saints). Also, on Saturday, the first annual Great Grapes! Stomp-Off will teams of four against each other in a race to see who can stomp the most juice out of grapes in five minutes. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 on site and include a souvenir wine glass and unlimited wine sampling.
