Celebrate Fairfax! Festival, June 8-10, Fairfax County Government Center
Fairfax will be bumpin’ this weekend as the 26th annual Celebrate Fairfax! Festival takes over this Friday through Sunday. This ain’t your average Northern Virginia party. For three glorious days, Celebrate Fairfax! will transform the Fairfax County Government Center into 25 acres of raucous good times. Tens of thousands of people will flood the area to enjoy the activities and exhibits, frolic on the 40+ carnival rides, ogle the nightly fireworks, munch on festival goodies and rock out to the bands. And these aren’t just any bands. Live, Smash Mouth, Little Big Town and Eddie from Ohio will be jammin’ and wailing’ it up on the Bud Light Stage. Tickets are 10 bucks a pop ($5 for kids) at the festival, though you can get discounted tickets through Thursday at select Northern Virginia locations (see website below).
