Jody’s Jam of the Week

Virginia Renaissance Faire, April 28 & 29, Belvedere Plantation, Fredericksburg, VA

I’ve made some calls and I’ve been assured that it will be beautiful out this Saturday and Sunday. Now, since I’ve gone through the trouble of hooking it up for the weekend, it’s your responsibility to get out there and enjoy it. Lucky for you, “A Day in the Life…Spotsylvania” featuring the Virginia Renaissance Faire is taking place this Saturday and Sunday. Yeah, it ain’t exactly right next door, but with a weekend that’s going to be this nice, it’ll be worth it. Hosted at Belvedere Plantation, a 1,000-acre farm by the Rappahannock River, you’ll be transported back to 16th century Stafford, England where you’ll experience the festive life of the Renaissance. Enjoy the music, dance and costumes of an era gone by as the all-volunteer cast provides an experience like none other.
