Larceny, Kaye Kare, 384 N. Washington St., August 21, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., unknown person(s) stole numerous pieces of jewelry made by Nolland Miller. The jewelry is described as a 20" gold rope necklace with a buttercup pendant, a buttercup shaped yellow and gold pendant with small diamonds layered around the edge of the pendant and women’s clip on buttercup shaped gold earrings, with small white diamonds in the center and on the edges of the earrings.

Larceny from vehicle, Coleman Power Sports, 435 S. Washington St., August 22, 5:52 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a temporary tag from a motorcycle.

Destruction of Property, 1000 blk. Poplar Dr., between August 19, 5:00 p.m. and August 21, 6:50 a.m., unknown person(s) damaged with a rock the trunk lid and rear windshield of a blue 2006 Volkswagen Jetta.

Larceny, 400 blk. Little Falls St., August 22, 9:49 p.m., unknown person(s) stole from the bike trail a valley forge replica flag/banner with the words “United We Stand” written on it.

Larceny, Bangkok Blues Bar, 926 W. Broad St., August 22, 10:50 p.m., unknown person(s) left the establishment without paying an $8.75 bill.

Larceny, Shoplifting, Syms, 1000 E. Broad St., August 24, 3:24 p.m., police arrested a male, 33, of Annandale, VA for stealing a black leather Guess wallet valued at $9.99.

Assault, Aggravated, Unity Club, 116 W. Broad St., August 25, 3:17 p.m., police arrested a male, 48, of Annandale, VA for Attempted Malicious Wounding, Felony Threat to Burn Building / Structure and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Destruction of Property, 900 blk. Park Ave., August 26, 9:17 a.m., unknown person(s) egged and poured a chocolate substance on the hood, front windshield, and front quarter panels of a 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 blk. W. Marshall St., between August 25, 8:30 p.m. and August 26, 10:00 a.m., unknown person(s) entered an unlocked Saturn that was parked in front of the residence and removed a VA State Inspection sticker.

Larceny, Shoplifting, 7-11, 110 N. West St., August 26, 10:48 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment and stole (3) 12-packs of Corona Beer.

Larceny, Shoplifting, 7-11, 804 S. Washington St., August 27, 8:41 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment and stole a pack of cigarettes.

 

Graffiti, 300 blk. Timber Lane, between August 27, 5:00 p.m. and August 28, 9:00 a.m., unknown person(s) smeared a yellow substance on several windows, a white substance on the hood and a sticky substance over the driver side of a gold 2006 Honda Odyssey.

Larceny from Vehicle, 600 blk. S. Oak St., between August 28, 5:00 p.m. and August 29, 9:00 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a city tax sticker and state inspection sticker from a blue 1992 Toyota Corolla.

Destruction of Property, Vietnam Supermarket, 6609 Wilson Blvd., August 30, 2:59 a.m., unknown person(s) spray-painted graffiti on the west wall of the establishment.

Destruction of Property, Seven Corners Shell, 6623 Wilson Blvd., August 30, 2:59 a.m., unknown person(s) spray-painted graffiti on the rear wall of the establishment.

Larceny, Yellow Cab, 11 Hillwood Ave., September 1, 8:40 p.m., police arrested a male, 44, of Alexandria, VA for Larceny by False Pretense.

Brandishing Firearm, 6757 Wilson Blvd., Suite #17, September 1, 5:00 p.m., police arrested a male, 32, of Falls Church, VA for Brandishing a Firearm and Obstruction of Justice.
