Todd Glass, known for this appearances on comedy specials on HBO, Comedy Central and Last Comic Standing, is appearing now through Sunday (and twice on Friday and Saturday) at the DC Improv. Not only will Glass have you slapping your knee and guffawing like a madman, but in addition, local boy Matt Sapsford is opening up for Glass and is bound to tickle your funny bone as well.

Back in March, Sapsford, a ‘96 grad of James Madison High, placed second in the Improv’s young comics competition and now he’s back, better than ever for Round 2. While Glass has made a name for himself on the national level, Sapsford has been making the rounds at the local scene. When he’s not on stage at the Improv, Matt can often be seen doing his funny thing at Dr. Dremo’s in Arlington, or in the dugout of many a News Hound baseball game throughout the area. Before he blows up and forgets where he came from, here’s your chance to catch Matt while he’s still humble.
