GMHS’ Joel Block Named ‘Super Teacher’ George Mason High School (GMHS) math teacher, Joel Block, has been selected as one of eight educators statewide to receive the Virginia Lottery Super Teacher Award.

The George Mason High School boys varsity soccer team beat Madison County at home last Tuesday by a score of 2-1, completing their 10-0 perfect season in the Bull Run District.

Falls Church Kiwanis Little League Report

Spring’s promise of hope was in the air as some 400 players ages 5 – 12 representing 35 teams joined with their families to launch the Falls Church Kiwanis Little Leagues’ 61st season on Saturday, April 18, at Westgate Park.
