We will be discussing the book Scales of Justice by Ngaio Marsh. Written in 1955 it is a classic English Village whodunit. In the village of Swevenings there are secrets and eccentric characters abounding. When a dead body is discovered at the banks of the river Chyne by Nurse Kettle, there is no doubt it’s murder. Roderick Alleyn from Scotland Yard investigates. Come in, get cozy and enjoy a group discussion of books of mystery and suspense by famous and lesser known authors from the Golden Age of Mysteries.
