George Mason High School’s girls basketball team couldn’t generate much offense in consecutive games but was only burned by it once, with a 42-29 loss to William Monroe High School Tuesday night and a 32-27 win over Brentsville District High School last Thursday.
Whether a skater is gearing up for more competitions or going on break and pondering the future will be determined at the 2020 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, which take place on Jan. 21 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Rounding out 2019 with two more wins, the George Mason High School boys swim team finished first among twelve area teams in the Holiday Hundreds Invitational meet at the Prince William Aquatic Center back on Dec. 14.
