The Falls Church League of Women Voters held an informational forum last night on the international political instability factors, especially in the Middle East, that has led to a surge in enrollment in the highly-acclaimed Falls Church City School System in the first months of 2011.

The forum featured the comments of a family who fled the region to come to the U.S., encouraged by the U.S. State Department to locate in Falls Church because of the quality of the school system here. A full report on the event will be published in next week’s print edition of the News-Press.
