President Biden Signs Three Bills

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On Tuesday, December 26, 2023, the President signed into law:

H.R. 1722, the “Grand Ronde Reservation Act Amendment of 2023,” which amends the Grand Ronde Reservation Act to clarify that the land claim settlement only extinguishes the Tribe’s claims for a specified parcel of land;

H.R. 2839, which amends the Siletz Reservation Act to define the Tribe’s hunting, fishing, trapping, and gathering rights; and

Thank you to Representative Hoyle, Senator Merkley, and the entire Oregon delegation for their leadership.
 
H.R. 6503, the “Airport and Airway Extension Act of 2023, Part II,” which extends, through March 8, 2024, Federal Aviation Administration authorities and related revenue authorities.
