Flute Ensemble Comes to St. Patrick’s Episcopal

This ensemble is led by one of Odeon Chamber Music’s favorite performers, Karen Johnson, who will be performing at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church (3241 Brush Drive, Falls Church) on Sunday, March 3 at 4 p.m.

This program features pieces written by women composers who have been inspired by the sound of the flute in solo performance or in ensembles, including Karen VanDyke, Lauren Panfili, Stacy Ascione, Rebecca Carey and Kathllen Jacobi. The program will include music by Catherine McMichael, Yuko Ubayashi and Ali Ryearson with Mariko Hiller playing the piano.

Admission is free, but a donation of $20 is suggested. A wine and cheese reception follows the concert.
