Arlington Diocese Lists Names of Suspected Priests

Michael F. Burbidge, Bishop of the Catholic Church Diocese of Arlington, has directed that a list of priests who have been credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors be released publicly, it was announced Wednesday.

The list is being published after a full review of all clergy files by experienced and independent examiners (former FBI personnel) who were given full access to all information and files from the history of the Diocese of Arlington since its founding in 1974, according to the statement.

The list included the following:

Priests incardinated to the Diocese of Arlington: Robert C. Brooks, Christopher M. Buckner, Curtis L. Clark, William J. Erbacher, Andrew W. Krafcik, John J. Munley, Tran Dinh Nhi, William T. Reinecke, Stephen A. Roszel.;

Religious Order priests: Scott A. Asalone, O.F.M. Cap., Richard P. Baird, C.PP.S.;

Richmond Diocese priests later incardinated into the Arlington Diocese: Harris M. Findlay, Paul J. Kamerdze, Robert L. Nudd, John Rea, Austin Ryder.
