Newburn’s Mural Completes Gold Project for Girl Scouts

RECENT GEORGE MASON HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE, Ann Newburn of Girl Scout Troop 1251, completed her Girl Scout Gold Project this summer. Newburn wanted to see more public art in Falls Church and produced the mural at Lazy Mike’s. The Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, recognizing girls who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through remarkable Take Action projects that have sustainable impact in their communities-and beyond.
