The Falls Church-based Kiddar Capital founder and CEO Todd Hitt and former Puerto Rico Gov. Luis Furtuño will lead a humanitarian mission and business delegation to San Juan, Puerto Rico today, it has been announced.

The delegation first will deliver supplies, including infant formula and much-needed medication, to San Jorge Children’s Hospital and to the Ronald McDonald House. After departing the Ronald McDonald House, former Gov. Furtuño and Hitt will meet with Puerto Rico Secretary of Housing Fernando Gil Enseñat at the recovery command center to tour affected areas. The delegation also will meet with other government officials and local industry leaders to discuss how the public and private sectors can work together to meet the island’s current recovery and rebuilding needs. Specifically, the delegation will consider the logistics of getting additional aid to Puerto Rico, the government’s current debt crisis and how to address it, and how to and who is going to reconstruct the island.
