Book Drive Opening Up at Community Center

If you’re looking for a new home for your gently used books, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is starting to collect books for their spring book sale. Interested donors can drop their books in the book collection bin at the Falls Church Community Center (223 Little Falls St., Falls Church) through October 20. Books are for the annual book sale held in April; the sale benefits scholarship/grant programs for women, including local Falls Church high school girls.

The AAUW needs all kinds of books: hard-covers, paperbacks, novels, non-fiction, children’s, cookbooks, etc. that are suitable for re-sale. No magazines, encyclopedias, text books or damaged books will be accepted.
