The George Mason High School Black Student Union took the Metro to the Smithsonian Black History Museum this week. They were able to tour the new museum’s numerous exhibits including ones on slavery, the economics of cotton, and sports. They had time for contemplation at the courtyard fountain and were able to record their personal experiences with race at an interactive exhibit. (Photo: Jamie Lahy)
