7 Mason Speech and Debate Team Members Medal

The speech and debate team at George Mason High School competed at the Washington-Arlington Catholic Forensic League’s Mega Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 10 and seven of the team members came away with medals.

Sean Swick placed 1st in Junior Varsity Lincoln Douglas, Katie Smith placed 4th in Extemporaneous Speaking and Tahaseen Shaik placed 4th in Novice Lincoln Douglas.

The team of Miles Lankford and Chris Kim placed 4th in Junior Varsity Public Forum and the team of Meghan Murphy and Mithi Penaranda placed 5th in Novice Public Forum. For more information, visit wacfl.org.
