Annandale Lions Club Hosts Fruit Sale on Dec. 17

The Annandale Lions Club will be offering fresh navel oranges, grapefruit, juice oranges and mandarin oranges for sale by the case, half-case and quarter-case at $45 a case and less in smaller quantities at its fruit sale on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 8:15 a.m. until everything is sold out at the Annandale Swim Club, located at 7530 Little River Tpke., Annandale.

White House Ornaments, maple syrup, soup mix and cook books will also be on sale at the Annandale Swim Club and the Lions Club will collect donations of canned food for needy families.

Proceeds from the sale will go to support the club’s charity and community endeavors, which include providing eyeglass recycling, eye exams and new glasses as well as sight and hearing tests and college scholarships and supporting youth sports and environmental education.
