Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School held its inaugural GIVE Day last week in which all of the students at the school joined together to create gift baskets of items that were donated throughout the week, including school supplies, household items and toiletries.
Assembly lines of students worked together in the gym and cafe, while those who were feeling creative made holiday cards and snowflake decorations for the baskets. The festive donations will go to families served by Britepaths and Homestretch.
