Falls Church City Offices Closed for Thanksgiving

Most City of Falls Church Offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24 and on Friday, Nov. 25 for Thanksgiving. Two of the City’s offices, the Court Clerk’s Office and Sheriff’s Office, will close early on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Those offices will close at noon on that day.

The City closures for Thanksgiving include City Hall, Falls Church Community Center, Court Clerk’s Office, Library, Permits Counter, Senior Center and Sheriff’s Office. All of those offices, except for the Falls Church Community Center, will be closed the following day.

On Friday, Nov. 25 the Falls Church Community Center will be on a revised schedule of 8:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. The Falls Church Community Center will also close early on Friday, Dec. 2 – Sunday, Dec. 4 so that City staff can prepare for the Holiday Gift & Craft Show.

The community center will be open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 and from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4. For more information, visit fallschurchva.gov.
