F.C. Library Gets Into Holiday Spirit with 2 Events

Mary Riley Styles Public Library at 120 N. Virginia Avenue is hosting two weeks on back-to-back Saturdays that could help children in the area get into the holiday spirit. On Saturday, Dec. 3, the library is hosting Bob Brown Puppets for a presentation of “The Nutcracker Fantasy.”

The event will take place from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. and was recommended by library staff for children ages 5 and up. No registration is necessary for the event. On Saturday, Dec. 10, children in grades 1 – 5 can gather at the library to construct and decorate their own graham cracker gingerbread houses.

There will be two gingerbread house building sessions – one at 10 a.m. and one at 11 a.m. Registration is required and space is limited to 15 participants. For more information about either event, visit fallschurchva.org/Library.
