Mason’s Lubnow Signs to Play Lacrosse at Virginia Tech

GEORGE MASON HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR SARAH LUBNOW signed a letter of intent to play Division I lacrosse for Virginia Tech on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Mason amid a large gathering of students, coaches, teammates and family. With the signing, she became only the second lacrosse player from the school to sign to a Division I school. Sarah (center) is in the photo above reaching for the paperwork that she signed. To her left is her father Tom Lubnow and to her right is Courtney Gibbons, the head coach of Mason’s varsity girls lacrosse team. Behind them are Sarah’s brother, Brian Lubnow, and the former assistant coach of the girls lacrosse team, Bree Galloway.
