Armed Man Robs 7-Eleven in Falls Church Friday Morning

UPDATE: A suspect in the 7-Eleven armed robbery was apprehended Friday morning.

A 7-Eleven convenience store on S. Washington St. in the City of Falls Church was robbed early Friday morning by a man armed with a gun, police report.

At 2:45 a.m. Friday, police say they received a call about a man who entered the store with a handgun demanding money who then hit two employees on the head with the gun before taking cash and fleeing the scene. The two victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, between 25-35 years old and wearing a black hat and dark clothing. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact City of F.C. Police at 703-248-5053 (TTY 711).
