Crime Report: Another Stolen Car Plus More Larceny Around Falls Church

This week’s City of Falls Church crime report is once again highlighted by vehicle break-ins with two more vehicles being robbed of small change and one stolen vehicle from W. Marshall St.

In other crime news, someone skipped out on a bill at Marriot Towne Place Suites, a wallet was taken from a storage unit on Park Ave., somebody shoplifted at Harris Teeter, jewelry was stolen from a guest at Hilton Garden Inn and a 63-year-old man was arrested for assault at Dogwood Tavern.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: October 24 – 30, 2016

Graffiti, 900 S. Washington St. On Oct. 24, graffiti were found on the building.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block W. Annandale Rd. On Oct. 24, small change was stolen from the victim’s vehicle.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 block Jackson St. On Oct. 25, small change was stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

Stolen Vehicle, 100 block W. Marshall St. On Oct. 26, police received a report that a vehicle was stolen from a residence sometime overnight.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Le Mirage Café) On Oct. 26, a male, 33, of Falls Church, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Defrauding an Innkeeper (Marriott Towne Place Suites) On Oct. 27, a hotel guest failed to pay for the bill after leaving.

Larceny from Building, 313 Park Ave. On Oct. 27, police received a report that a wallet was stolen from a storage unit.

Assault, Obstructing Justice, and Public Drunkenness, 132 W. Broad St. On Oct. 28, a male, 63, no fixed address, was arrested for Assault, Obstructing Justice, and Public Drunkenness.

Shoplifting, 301 W. Broad St. On Oct. 28, an unknown suspect stole merchandise from the store.

Driving Under the Influence, 312 Hillwood Ave. (Larry Graves Park) On Oct. 28, a male, 33, of Oxon Hill, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Building, 706 W. Broad St. (Hilton Garden Inn) On Oct. 29, a guest reported jewelry was stolen from a room.
