9Round, a local kickboxing gym franchise, will be hosting its Kick Event for Breast Cancer on Thursday, October 13 from noon – 8 p.m. The public is invited in to try out the 30 minute kickboxing circuit gym and 9Round will donate one penny for every kick recorded that day. Since the event’s inception five years ago, participating 9Round locations throughout the United States and Canada have recorded over 18.8 million kicks and raised nearly $189,000 to advance breast cancer treatment and laboratory research.
