F.C. Papa John’s Held Up by 2 Men Monday

Two men, at least one armed with a gun, robbed a person in the parking lot of the Papa John’s on West Broad and then proceeded to hold up the pizza store before fleeing the scene Monday night in the City of Falls Church.

F.C. police say that around 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, the two suspects accosted a victim in the parking lot, taking money and a cell phone, and then entered the store where they hit an employee on the head with a handgun and took cash from a register. The two victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police describe the suspects as male, possibly black, wearing hooded sweatshirts – one black and one gray – and both wore masks and gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call the City of F.C. police department at 703-248-5053.

The inter-connected web of community organizations in Arlington always amazes me. Sometimes it is evident in specific coalition work, where one group’s work helps fill the need of another’s work.
