Sept. 30 Sunset Cinema Postponed Due to Rain

The City of Falls Church announced at around 11:28 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30 that the Sunset Cinema Double Feature that has been postponed to Friday, Oct. 7 due to the rain. “Soggy conditions in Cherry Hill Park and potentially more rain led to the decision,” a press release about the postponement said.

The double feature next week will start with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at 7:15 p.m., followed by “Raiders of the Lost Ark” at 9:46 p.m. Sunset Cinema is free for all and held at Cherry Hill Park at 312 Park Avenue.

The City’s other events for Saturday, Oct. 1, Community Workshop #2: Vision for the City, Community Clean-Up and Farmers Market, are on as scheduled rain or shine. For more information, visit fallschurchva.gov.
