Weather Postpones W. Broad Power Outage Friday

UPDATE: Due to rain, the City has postponed the scheduled undergrouding of utility lines in front of the Kensington Friday. No reschedule date has been set yet.

Power will be shut off to a select group of businesses on West Broad Street in downtown Falls Church for a 10-hour period from late Friday night to early Saturday morning to accommodate the undergrounding of utility lines in front of the Kensington, under construction in the 500 block.

The exact hours of the power outage were not available as of press time.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this post indicated West Broad Street would be closed. It will remain open to traffic during the power outage.
