Sept. 25 Concerts vs. Gun Violence in F.C.

A national “Concert Across America to End Gun Violence” will be held in over 200 locations nationwide on Sunday, Sept. 25. They will all be connected by way of social media and online. Four venues will be in Falls Church from 5 – 8 p.m., including Clare and Don’s Beach Shack where Ramon Camarillo, a Hawaiian musician, will perform, Argia’s Italian Restaurant, where jazz guitarist Josh Walker and the George Mason High School jazz band will perform, Applebee’s Restaurant, where guitarist and singer Andrew Acosta will perform, and the Lil City Creamery, where the 60s-music Yeonas Brothers Band will perform.

At Monday’s F.C. City Council meeting a proclamation was signed by Mayor David Tarter commemorating Sept. 25 as a National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims.
