Some eighth graders at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School are enrolled in a new Introduction to Fashion Careers course this semester. In the course, students will explore all aspects of the fashion industry including fashion illustration, sewing/construction, merchandising and fashion history and trends.
They will create a wearable art project and hear from guest speakers in different areas of the industry. The semester-long course earns high school credit.
