Crime Report: Construction Material Stolen from Tinner Hill Reserve

There were three DUIs in the City of Falls Church last week, according to the latest City of Falls Church crime report released Tuesday. Two of the arrested involved Falls Church men, with one occurring on Wilson Blvd. and the other on W. Broad St. A third incident involved a 28-year old Arlington man who was also arrested for possession of marijuana and for outstanding warrants.

In other crime, a purse was stolen from a car at Eden Center, construction material was taken from the Tinner Hill Reserve project and a car was keyed on Chanel Terrace.

 

City  of Falls Church Crime Report: August 29 – September 4, 2016

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug 29, police received a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle.

Driving Under the Influence, 6600 block Wilson Blvd. On Aug 29, a male, 48, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

 

Driving Under the Influence, 1200 block W. Broad St. On Aug. 31, a male, 42, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Narcotics Violation, 1000 block W. Broad St. On Sep. 2, a male, 23, of Oxon Hill, MD, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Larceny from Building, 455 S. Maple Ave. (Tinner Hill Reserve) On Sept. 2, construction material was reported stolen from the site.

Narcotics Violation and Driving Under the Influence, 1000 block Hillwood Ave. On Sep. 3, a male, 28, of Arlington, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Driving Under the Influence, and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test. The suspect was also arrested for outstanding warrants from the Arlington Sheriff’s Office for Probation Violations.

Tampering with Auto, 800 block W. Broad St. On Sep. 4, two unknown persons entered a vehicle. There were no reports of items taken.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 100 block Chanel Terr. On Sep. 4, police received a report of a vehicle keyed sometime overnight.
