The Uncle Devin Show Comes to TJ Library in F.C.

Devin Walker, known as The Children’s Drumcussionist, is bringing The Uncle Devin Show to Thomas Jefferson Library, located at 7415 Arlington Blvd., Falls Church, on Thursday, Aug. 11 from 2:30 – 3:15 p.m.

Children ages 6 – 12 will have the opportunity to journey through the land of percussion as they hear and play different instruments in this event that’s co-sponsored by the Friends of the George Mason Regional Library. Only children ages 6 – 12 will be admitted to the event; younger children and adults will not be admitted.

Walker’s Uncle Devin Drum Tales won a 2013 Parents’ Choice Presentation Award and his children’s book, The ABCs of Percussion with Music CD, was named a 2015 National Parenting Publication Awards Bronze winner.

When he isn’t performing The Uncle Devin Show, Walker is a teaching artist and artist roster member with Young Audiences/Arts for Learning in Maryland, where he performs for assemblies and residencies in schools throughout the state. For more information, visit theuncledevinshow.com.
