F.C. Residents Earn Academic Honors Across the Nation

Several Falls Church residents recently earned academic honors from colleges, universities and other academic institutions across the nation.

Jonathan Aciego was named to the dean’s list at Hofstra University, where students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average to make the list. Bethany Beer was named to the dean’s list at Wisconsin Lutheran College, where students must earn at least a 3.6 grade point average to make the list.

Zoe Goodwin, a senior in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and Danica Mooney-Jones, a sophomore in the College of Biological Sciences at the university, made the dean’s list at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where students must earn at least a 3.66 grade point average while completing 12 or more letter-graded credits.

Evan John Harvey, an industrial engineering major, and Cameron P. Kenworthy, an economics major, were named to the dean’s list at Clemson University, where students earn between a 3.5 – 3.99 grade point average to make the list.

Sally Lillian Englander graduated from the Congressional School and will attend Foxcroft School, a college-preparatory boarding and day school for girls in Middleburg, in the fall. Ryan Holtz graduated from Miami University of Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.

Camila Lammersdorf-Moscoso graduated from Lafayette College, where she received Bachelor of Arts degrees in biology and international affairs. Danitza Loya graduated from the University of Iowa with a Juris Doctor degree.
