Detectives are currently investigating six reported cases of ATM thefts reported between July 18 – 20 that have been occurring in the Fairfax County region. Further investigation by the police showed the suspects utilizing stolen vehicles to carry out the thefts, then abandoning the vehicles used during the robbery.

A released video clip of the theft shows the suspects prying open the business’ doors and using force to break off the ATM from its place and slide it out the store. The suspects were described as black, approximately 175 to 200 pounds, 5 feet 10 inches tall and wore dark clothing with faces covered.
