Ballston Iceplex Hosts Skate Night for the Disabled

Individuals with disabilities are invited to bring their friends and family to an Adapted Ice Skate Night at Kettler Capitals Iceplex at Ballston, located at 627 N. Glebe Road, Arlington, on Saturday, July 9 from 6 – 8 p.m.

All ages are welcome to the event and admission to the event is $1, which covers the cost of skate rentals. Event organizers suggested that those who may have difficulty using the rental skates purchase BOB skates, which are available at Kettler in limited quantities, or to purchase other skating aids to use in conjunction with the rental skates.

Registration for the event is requested. For more information or for registration information, call Katie Salyers at 703-228-4738 or visit parks.arlingtonva.us/therapeutic-recreation/therapeutic-recreation-family-programs.
