Arc of NoVa Named ‘Nonprofit of the Year’

The Arc of Northern Virginia was named Nonprofit of the Year by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce (formerly the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.) The award is presented annually to a D.C.-metro region nonprofit for outstanding visionary contributions to the community with special consideration being given to applicants who demonstrate excellence in collaboration, with businesses, other nonprofits, or government in their corporate social responsibility efforts. One of 23 nominees, the Falls Church-based nonprofit provides services and advocacy support to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families in Northern Virginia.
