The traffic signal at the intersection of W. Broad Street (Route 7) and Maple Avenue went out of service during Tuesday night’s storm and is expected to be out through at least 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, City of Falls Church officials report. While the signal is out, drivers should expect a four-way stop at the intersection.
According to an alert from the City, police will monitor the intersection and direct traffic as needed through rush hour Wednesday morning.
