Concerts in the Park Series Kicks Off at Cherry Hill Park

The City of Falls Church and the Village Preservaton and Improvement Society are kicking off their annual Concerts in the Park series with musical selections from the Falls Church Concert Band this Thursday, June 23 at 7 p.m. at Cherry Hill Park at 312 Park Avenue. The concerts are held every Thursday at 7 p.m. from June 23 – August 4 at the park and free.

Bad Hair Day, playing a variety of crowd favorites, continues the series on June 30 and Andrew Acosta Band, playing roots music, plays the first July show on July 7. On July 14, Irish Breakfast Band will be playing Irish Celtic music and Ocho de Bastos (Eight of Clubs) will be playing Latin pop music on July 21.

Mama Tried with Randy Barrett and Dede Wyland will be playing bluegrass on July 28 and Tom Principato finishes off the series on August 4 with blues rock. For more information, visit fallschurchva.gov/Concerts.
