The Old Dominion Chrysanthemum Society will present a short mum growing tutorial on Sunday, June 12 at 2:30 p.m. at the Falls Church Community Center at 223 Little Falls Street, which will be followed by instruction on how to control when chrysanthemums bloom by using shading to extend the hours of darkness.

David Eigenbrode, winner of the Sweepstakes Award at the 2015 National Chrysanthemum Society Show, will lead the discussions. The tutorial is free and there will be refreshments at the meeting. For more information, call Jim Dunne at 703-560-8776.
