Falls Church Arts to Open Location in The Kensington

The Kensington recently announced that Falls Church Arts will be one of the first tenants of the assisted living community’s ground-floor retail space. The Kensington plans to feature the artists in Falls Church Arts’ 2016 Plein Air Festival during the opening of the community’s information center at 1212 W. Broad Street on Thursday, June 16 from 7 – 9 p.m., which is invitation only.

After the Plein Air artist feature, the space will feature new artists every 30 – 45 days. The Kensington will also celebrate the Plein Air artists at the Falls Church Arts Plein Air festival on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Falls Church Farmers’ Market.

Once The Kensington officially opens the assisted living facility at 700 W. Broad Street in 2017, Falls Church Arts will display interchangeable art installations on the ground floor of the building. For more information, visit thekensingtonfallschurch.com.

CORRECTION: The original version of this report omitted the fact that The Kensington Assisted Living Facility’s reception on Thursday, June 16 is invitation only.
