Crime Report: Several Alcohol-Related Arrests in Falls Church Last Week

It was a week full of alcohol-related arrests in the City of Falls Church, according to the latest crime report released Tuesday. Last Monday, there were two DUI arrests including one that occurred after a crash on S. West St., then on Tuesday two men were arrested for public drunkeness in separate incidents. On Wednesday, a 53-year old Arlington man was arrested for DUI and possession of a controlled substance on N. Washington St. and finally, on Sunday, a 27-year old Falls Church man was arrested for public drunkeness and urinating in public on Hillwood Ave.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: May 23 – 29, 2016

Driving Under the Influence. 300 block W. Broad St. On May 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 21, of Leesburg, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block S. West St. On May 23, officers responded the area for a report of a motor vehicle crash. After an investigation, a male, 58, of Falls Church was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Graffiti, 223 Little Falls St. (Falls Church Community Center) On May 24, graffiti were found on an air conditioning unit.

Larceny from Building, 416 S. Washington St. (Foxes Music) On May 24, merchandise was reported stolen.

Public Drunkenness, 370 W. Broad St. On May 24, a male, 31, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 930 W. Broad St. (Taco Bell) On May 24, a male, 18, of Fairfax, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Narcotic Violation and Driving Under the Influence, 400 block N. Washington St. On May 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 53, of Arlington, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Building, 6623 Wilson Blvd. (Shell Gas) On May 25, gasoline was reported stolen from the station.

Shoplifting, 100 Hillwood Ave. (Aalans Service) On May 26, merchandise was reported stolen.

Public Drunkenness and Urinating in Public, 300 block Hillwood Ave. On May 29, a male, 27, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Urinating In Public.
