Reception for New TJ Principal June 8

Paul Swanson, an elementary principal in Indiana, has accepted the position as new principal of Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. The Thomas Jefferson Selection Committee is hosting a welcome reception for the community on Wednesday, June 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Thomas Jefferson cafeteria.

“Mr. Swanson’s strong belief that education ‘is a people business’ really struck a chord with me,” said TJ 3rd grade teacher and principal selection committee member Christopher Barnes. “I believe he understands the importance of involving all stakeholders, and I’m very excited about working under his guidance to help Thomas Jefferson transition to the next stage of its development.”
