Students in the 7th grade honors English class at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School recently participated in the Gold Division of the Word Masters Challenge, a national competition for students in grades 3-8 that encourages growth in vocabulary and verbal reasoning.
The team placed 9th in the Gold Division, the more challenging, advanced division in the competition, and competed against 125,000 students from schools around the country. For more information, visit wordmasterschallenge.com.
