‘For the Artful Whimsy’ Show Opens at ArtSpace

The latest Falls Church Arts show For the Artful Whimsy opened on Wednesday, May 11 with a reception at ArtSpace Falls Church at 410 S. Maple Street. The all-media, juried show was open to all artists and features several pieces from students in George Mason High School’s IB Art class, which is taught by Marc Robarge.

The students with work featured in the show are Manaal Khwaja, Adele Ingeman, Maddie Rands and Moon-Rae Mondragon. Other artists featured in the show are Terri Rae, Nick Gatz, Liz Morton, Helen Power, Christina Hibbard, Shaun VanSteyn, Julie Clark, Nancy Garcia and Michele Frantz.

For the Artful Whimsy’s theme is engaging, fun and amusing works. The show is on display through Monday, June 6 during ArtSpace Falls Church’s regular business hours of 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and weekdays and weekends before and after performances at Creative Cauldron.
