Monthly Teen Support Group Forms in Falls Church

A peer-run teen support group for children ages 13 – 17 has formed in Falls Church. The group will meet every third Sunday of the month from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at the Bonita Woods Wellness Institute at 140 Little Falls Street, Suite 111. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. for the group.

The next meeting of the group is Sunday, May 15. The group is an opportunity for teenagers to connect with their peers and discuss and explore pathways to personal growth, maturity, recovery, emotional evaluation, or to just hang out and chat.

Snacks will be provided by Chef Bon’s Yum Truck at the group, which bills itself as a “safe place to make friends, receive support and celebrate accomplishments. The group is being sponsored by the Bonita Woods Wellness Institute and the Northern Virginia chapter of Children and Adults with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder.
